He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Onchuck and Edna Onchuck (Lechleiter); his brothers-in-law, Greg N. and Dennis B.; and his nephew Lance.
He is survived by: his wife Anita Althoff of Mooreton; his children, D. Justin (Naomi), Arnel (Danette), Renata Fobb (Yoney) and Jeri Pausch (Chance); his grandchildren, Ariana, Jaida, Braydon, Danica, Sienna, Evan, Malea, Orin, Jordan, Lyara, Ezra, Camden, Alayna and Emrys; and his siblings, Gregg, Pam Hoff (John), Roxanne Johnson (Bob), Vicki Bellin, Gary (Monica), Jeff (Sheryl), Sherry Wieser (Randy), Peggy Materi (Tom), Sandra (Ryan) and Stacey Whitcomb (Jon). He is also survived by brothers and sisters to his children.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the St. Anthony's Catholic Church (200 Mooreton Ave N, Mooreton, ND 58061). A prayer will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at the St. Anthony's Cemetery (7916-7910 168th Ave SE, Mooreton, ND 58061).
He helped with many contributions to the beautiful grotto and other projects on the church grounds.
