She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Rummel and Charlotte "Lottie" Rummel (Gallagher); her husband Bill; her siblings, Pete Gartner, Ione Cady (Bruce), Donald Rummel (Gladys) and Arnold Rummel; her brothers-in-law, Jacob Friedt (Emma), Joseph Friedt (Vernie), Tony Friedt, Ray Friedt (Mary), Alex M. Friedt (Leona), Victor Friedt (Josie) and Frank Bergenheier; her granddaughter Jaylea Friedt; and her son-in-law Leland Krein.
She is survived by: her children, Char Marthaller (Duey), Ron Friedt (Anita), Flo Friedt (Jackie), Bev Rivinius (Gene), Danny Friedt (Nancy), Kelly Friedt (Melissa), Mark Friedt (Dawn) and Marella Krein; her brother Jerry Rummel (Brenda); and her siblings-in-law, Val Friedt (Jeanette), Bobbie Rummel, Ann Bergenheier and Lillian Friedt. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, plus 7 adoptive grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, plus 15 adoptive great-grandchildren, and 2 adoptive great great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church (408 Iowa Ave, Mott, ND 58646). A rosary was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Vincent's Catholic Church in Mott.
