It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roberta Erickson (New England, North Dakota), who passed away on December 14, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Roberta departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Roberta. Though Roberta may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Wieland and Mildred Wieland (Richardson); her husband Orlin Erickson; and her siblings, Gayle Weiland (Monica) and Jay Weiland.
She is survived by: her children, Vicki French of Sumter, SC, James Erickson (Cheryl) of New England, Dawn Finch (Bruce) of Days Creek, OR and Michele Rout (Jamie) of Chillicothe, OH; her brother Marv Wieland (Karen); and her sister-in-law Robyn Wieland. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren.
