She was predeceased by : her parents, Jens Strand and Hilda Strand (Halvorson); her husband Vernon Pranke; and her siblings, Leslie Strand and Anna Bird.

She is survived by : her children, Diane Nelson of Fessenden, ND, Sharon Hass (Jim) of Gilbert, AZ, Daryl Pranke of Bremen, ND and Kevin Pranke (Jodie) of Bemidji, MN. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
