He was predeceased by : his parents, August Christian and Louise Christian (Scherer); his sister Ardella; his siblings-in-law, Mary Christian and Robert Schwagler; and his grandson Ethan Hoger.
He is survived by : his wife Sheila Windhorst; his pet Buster; his children, Hazel Hoger (Ivan), Aldon Christian (Tania) and Marla Hagemeister (Travis); his grandson Wyatt Hoger (Morgan); his great grandchildren, Trace and Parker Hoger; and his brothers, Loren Christian and Randy Christian (Linda).
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Marlen's name are suggested to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project (http://www.woundedwarriorproject.org) or the Churchtown Cemetery Association.
