It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marna Held of New Salem, North Dakota, who passed away on May 19, 2026, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Harold Ott and Beatrice Ott (Teason); her daughter Jennifer Held; and her sister Emilie Ott. She is survived by: her husband Donald Held; her children, Margaret Johnston (Mark), Carolyn Held (Darcy), Deborah Held and David Held (Jen); her grandchildren, Joshua Tatum (Macayla), Jacob Tatum (Lexie) and Kylie Held; her great grandchildren, Oakleigh, Malakai, Evelyn, Kathryn and Ethan; and her sister Edith Diel.
