We are sad to announce that, on January 5, 2026, Rita Uran of New Town, North Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Langved and Grace Langved (Pierson); her daughter Starla Harper; her grandson Cody White; and her brothers, Gary and Thomas.
She is survived by: her husband Sam Uran of New Town; her son Shannon Uran of New Town; her grandchildren, Samantha Williams (Brandon), Melodie Person (Braden) and Lane Person; her great grandchildren, Natalie, Savannah, Ollie, Brandon Jr. and Otto; her brother Steven Langved (Ann); her uncle Arthur Langved (Clarice); and her aunt Lila Perzinski. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
Interment: Grand Valley Lutheran Cemetery, rural New Town **In place of flowers, memorials are preferred to Bethel Lutheran Church, New Town Ambulance, or New Town Fire Department.
