He was predeceased by: his parents, James Frey and Francis Frey (Spradlin); and his siblings, Jim Frey and Sue Bondous. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Morrissey of Newburg; his sons, Travis Frey (Denise) of New Holstein, WI, Joseph Frey (Rebecca) of Maxbass, ND and Leslie (Shelly) of Groves, TX; and his siblings, Bill, David Frey and Hope McNitt.
