He was predeceased by: his parents, Einar Stromme and Jeanette Stromme (Richard); his son Zach (Nicholai); his brother David; and his nephew Joshua.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Abbate (Wisc); his son Nick Stromme (Lisa Neshem); his granddaughters, Nola, Kate and Zena; and his siblings, Mary Stromme of Fargo, ND, Sandy Ulmer (Tom) of Fargo, ND, Tom Stromme (Kari) of Bismarck, ND, Jeff Stromme (Ginny) of Kansas City, KS and Joyce Gelderman (Tedd) of Ward, S. D.
