He was predeceased by : his wife Kathryn; his son Alan; his siblings, Jerome (Della), Earl (Ella Mae), Jean Nelson (Fred), Gwendolyn Tufte and Dorothy Olson (Byron); and his parents, Theodore Tufte and Constance Tufte.
He is survived by : his children, Darryl Tufte (Lori), Julie Brorby (Michael) and Rhonda Martin. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren.
