He was predeceased by : his parents, Theodore Tufte and Constance Tufte; and his siblings, Earl (Ella Mae), Jean (Fred), Dorothy (Byron) and Gwendolyn.
He is survived by : his children, Duane (Phyllis), Nancy (Tom) and Steven; his brother Donald; and his grandchildren, Thomas Tufte, Brent Tufte, Karis Rygg, Jenna Fishbine and Brandon Tufte. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
