Though Brent may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He is survived by: his parents, Leonard Halmrast and Lela Halmrast (Sveum); his daughters, Kyanna Halmrast of Fargo, ND and NaKayla Halmrast of Fargo, ND; his girlfriend Juli Schultz of DeLamere; and his siblings, Donna Rossow (Tom), Wanda Axtman, Laura Gibbon (Mitch) of Maricopa, AZ, Kim Gruba (Kelly) and Brad Griggs. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Milnor Lutheran Church (321 2nd St, Milnor, ND 58060). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM.
