He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Kranzler and Tabitha Kranzler (Hausauer); and his in-laws, Clifford and Mable Glawe. He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his children, Teresa Kasprick (Owen Huber) and Michael Kranzler (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Cody (Rachel), Brandon (Benji), Nathan and Kayla (Mike); his great grandchild Madelyn Rose Kasprick; his brother James Kranzler (Ardella); and his sisters-in-law, Karen Brown, Kathy Puhr and Gail Lewis (Don). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
