He was predeceased by: his wife Mary; and his siblings, Wayne, John Jr., Harland, Olga Schock, Frieda Heyd and Joan Raatz.
He is survived by: his daughters, Debra Mahoney (Ron), Sheryl Schiffner (Doug) and Sandra Strahm (Robert); and his sisters, Jean Urbach and MarJo Steffes.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Dahlstrom Funeral Home (603 Hickory Ave, Oakes, ND 58474). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
