He was predeceased by: his parent Amelia Fode; his brothers, Melvin, Johnny, Donald and Wilbert; and his wife Marjorie "Marge" Fode (Freymark).
He is survived by: his children, Steve Fode (Rhonda), Barb Enderson (Scott) and Amy Thompson (Todd); his grandchildren, Kyle (Jenn), Cam (Marie), Tyler (Kelsey), Jordaan (Chris) and Cayla (Marcus); his great grandchildren, Brynley, Easton, Hadley, Brielle, Brooks, Brayden, Bodyn, Walker, Baker and Livia; his sister Evelyn Good; and his sister-in-law Diane Loper.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Sargent Central Activity Center (575 5th St SW, Forman, ND 58032). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location.
