He was predeceased by : his parents, Carl Walter and Margaret Ella Elizabeth Schempp (Buchholz); and his siblings, Betty Jane Schempp, Raymond Schempp and George Schempp.
He is survived by : his wife Mathilda Schempp (Kron) of Oakes, ND; his children, Tammy Lindseth (Mark) of Aberdeen, SD and Daniel Schempp (Amber) of West Fargo, ND; and his granddaughters, Olivia and Katelyn.
