Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Richard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nestor Kyllonen and Bertha Kyllonen (Hill); and his siblings, Bob and Katie. He is survived by: his wife Alice Fatland. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Dahlstrom Funeral Home (603 Hickory Ave, Oakes, ND 58474).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Dickey County Historical Society.
