He is survived by: his wife Katherine Lambert; and his children, Taelynn Thompson, Vance Mitchell of Crestview, FL, Carol Riccoban, Thomas Shoemaker of Crestview, FL and Richard Shoemaker Jr. of Crestview, FL. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
