He was predeceased by: his father George Allen Forward, Jr.; his brother Brian; his parents-in-law, Kenny and Arlene Meehl; and his brothers-in-law, Brian Meehl and Newt of Raismes.
He is survived by: his mother Marjorie Forward (Knipple); his wife Karen Meehl; his children, Andy Forward (Maggie), Krista Dobitz (Greg), Brennan Forward (Katie) and Katherine Heimbuch (Jordon); his grandchildren, Joseph, Luke, Abraham Dobitz, Betty, Clarence Forward, Brynn, Mark, Cameron Forward and Theodore Heimbuch; and his siblings, Pat Moore, Mary of Raismes, Jeff Forward (Roberta), Cheri Pearson (Randy), Dennis Forward (Shelly) and Jane Andersen (Larry).
