It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Wiek of Oakes, North Dakota, who passed away on March 11, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Thor Wiek and Elsie Wiek (Carl); and his siblings, Larry and Carolyn. He is survived by : his wife Marilyn Reiland; his children, Gene Wiek (Bobbi) of Oakes and Stefany Haugen (Jamie) of Fargo; his brother Bob Wiek (Joyce) of Oakes; and his grandchildren, Amanda Wiek (Patrick), Dylan Wiek, Dillon Swanson, Tyler Swanson (Peyten) and Garrett Swanson.

Wayne fought a courageous 15 year battle with Parkinson's and Inclusion Body Myositis.
