He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Buehler and Ruth Buehler (Saewert); his grandparents, Edmund, Fanny Buehler, Albert and Lydia Saewert; his sister Valerie Ruth; his brother-in-law Kent Pranke; and his nephew Andrew Pranke.
He is survived by: his daughter Elisa; his wife Nadley Dempsey; his grandchildren, Elisa, Joe and Annley Wentz (Bismarck); his children, Beau, Bria, Brittin, Brooks Buehler (Oberon), Breana, Michael, Adelye Pacheco (Watford City), Hunter, Grace and Hendrick Buehler (Oberon); and his sister Debra (Joel) Hjelseth. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
