He was predeceased by: his parents, Mads Bellerud and Alvilda Bellerud (Edna); and his siblings, Anna Setness (Ben), Melvin Bellerud (Eunice), Bernt Bellerud (Marilyn) and Helen Olson (Freeman).
He is survived by: his children, Pam Olson (Charlie) and Paul Bellerud (Vickie); and his in-laws, Ben, Emma Kjenstad, Gladys Carpenter (Bob), Evelyn Roseno (Robert), John Kjenstad (Jean) and Lowell Kjenstad (Myrna). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Gideon's or the Hospice of the Red River Valley.
