She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernice Arens and Joseph "Butch" Arens; and her siblings, Gail and Danny. She is survived by: her daughters, Bethany Kay (Lucas) of Cameron, WI, Stacey Jean of Devils Lake, ND and Jennifer Anne (Rory) of Beulah, ND; her husband Bruce Edwin Heggen; her grandchildren, Mac, Bre, Ellie, Liam, Weston and Walker; and her sisters, Nancy Benshoof (Brian) and Margie Janke (Mike).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be given to First Care Health Center or St. Mary's Catholic Church, in honor of Mary's spirit of giving and resilience.
