Zelma Peterson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 14, 2023, at the age of 91, Zelma Peterson of Park River, North Dakota passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Zelma Peterson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Byars and Olive Byars (Port); her husband James "Art" Peterson; her children, Gene, Dennis, Judith and Barbara Lembcke; her grandson Brian Mlcoch; and her great grandchild Trinity Leavitt.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Haggerty of Grafton, ND, Cindy Passa (Ron) of West Valley, UT, Deb Hajicek of Park River, ND, Kathy Annette of Moorhead, MN, Phyllis Hoverson of Hurricane, UT and Mari Beth Marks (George) of Grafton, ND. She is also survived by 11 Grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren and many close nieces and nephews.
In 2011, Zelma moved to Park River where she resided until she was hospitalized due to the COVID 2022, not able to recover fully from this illness was then moved into the Park River Good Samaritan Society.
Zelma gave to numerous charities, her family wishes to have donations made to one of her favorite charities: St. Jude, Veterans of War or Paralyzed Veterans.
