She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Young Bird Sr.; her son Justin Young Bird; her mother Martha Fox (Lone Bear); her grandparents, Emily Grady, Charlie Fox and Susie; and her sisters, Jessica Phelan, Andrea Rogers and Jamie Rogers.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert "Spirit" Young Bird Jr. and Duane Young Bird (Dawn); her grandchildren, Hasan Young Bird, Ethan Young Bird (Ella), Nathaniel Young Bird (K'lynn), Damian Young Bird, Justus, Justin Young Bird and Bobbi Young Bird; her great grandchild Isabelle Young Bird; and her sisters, Arvella White and Benita Spotted Elk. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
A memorial gathering was held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Langhans Funeral Homes, Inc. (106 Main St, Parshall, ND 58770). A wake was held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the Northern Lights Wellness Center (710 9th St N, New Town, ND 58763).
