He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Sr. Schumacher and Catherine Schumacher; the mother of his children Sonja Schumacher; his grandson Cruz Schumacher; his daughter-in-law Kathy Schumacher; and his siblings, James Schumacher, Annie Gwynn, Doris Mack, Edward Schumacher, Monica Schumacher, Mark Schumacher, Virginia Schumacher and Adeline Schumacher.

He is survived by: his children, Shawn Schumacher, Brad Schumacher (Stacy), Mark Schumacher (Jen) and Nicole Schumacher (John Corell); his grandchildren, Michael, Ashley, Amanda, Kasey of Devin, J. J. and Lacey; and his siblings, Laura Stern (Gerald), Johanna Kvigne, Emanuel Schumacher (Cookie), Kathy Devillers (Joel), Jane Mueller (Al Stoltz), Francis Schumacher (Shelley) and Donna Handt (Dean Wick). He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
