He is survived by: his children, Curtis Flaten (Donna) of Hope, ND, Neil Flaten (Lisa) of West Fargo, ND and Lori Dalby (Kelvin) of Fargo, ND; his daughter-in-law Susan Flaten of Hope, ND.; his grandchildren, Timothy Flaten (Allie), Sarah Kubista (Adam), Cody Flaten, Natasha Basol (Jerod), Chance Flaten, Connor Flaten (Hannah Pierson), Josie Muhs (Andy), Preston Flaten (Anna), Andrea Haverkamp (Steve), Spencer Flaten (Kendra), Taylyn Voss (Alec) and Rylee Thompson (Lydia); his great grandchildren, Natalie, Abigail and Bridget Kubista; his grandchildren, Lillian, Nash, Vaya, Remi Basol, Emerson Flaten, Edyn, Bryer, Halle Flaten, Caylee, Lawson, Brooks Haverkamp, Emmytt, Myles, Rawley Flaten and Kase Thompson; his sister Arlene Pedersen; and his sisters-in-law, Elaine Hagen, Helen Strand, Judy Koppang and Marilyn Koppang.
