He was predeceased by: his parents, Holland Berkom and Alice Van Berkom (Vangen); his aunt Ella Van Berkom; and his brothers, David and Steven Van Berkom.
He is survived by: his wife Debbie Van Berkom; his sister Kimberly Andersen; and his siblings-in-law, Andrea Van Berkom, Linda Van Berkom, Vicki Andersen, Barbara Hallock, Pamela Mehlhoff, Jeff Andersen, Duane Hallock and Randy Mehlhoff. He is also survived by nephew and several nieces.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Powers Lake Kingdom Hall (9070 ND-50, Powers Lake, ND 58773).
