He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Barmoen; his parents, LeRoy Rystedt and Florence Rystedt; his brother Dennis Rystedt; and his sister-in-law Una Fay Rystedt.
He is survived by: his children, Brian Rystedt, Brenda Sem (Stacey), Bonnie Zundel (Scott) and Paul Rystedt (Danielle); and his brother Jim Rystedt (Norma). He is also survived by grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a many great friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Springan Stevenson Funeral Home (120 12th Ave SE, Stanley, ND 58784). A family service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 5:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Cross Lutheran Church (315 Main St, Powers Lake, ND 58773).
