She is survived by: her brother John Wanapi of Belcourt; and her sibling's children, Angelique Davis (Debra Bigelow-Davis) of Grand Forks, Deena Davis (Jeremy Sankey), Mary Wanapi of Dunseith, ND, John Wanapi Jr. of Dunseith, Sara LaVallie (Edward LaVallie), Thomas Poitra, Keven Poitra and Manasseh Peltier (Sadie Smith).
