He is survived by: his mother Eileen Haakenson; his wife Lila; his daughters, Lori Brewer (Jonathan) and Tia Braseth (Natasha); his granddaughters, Hayden, Addie and Brewer; his siblings, Clayton Haakenson, Doug (Kim) and Emrene Haakenson; his siblings-in-law, Al (Margo), Duane (Cindy), Clancy Gourneau and Deb Gourneau; his pets, Brittany and Joey; Scanson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Viewing was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Elick Funeral Home (305 1st Ave NE, Rolla, ND 58367).
