It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lyla LaRee Bertsch of Rolla, North Dakota, born in Willow City, North Dakota, who passed away on May 22, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Ellis and Laura Ellis (Kitzman); her sons, Leland Bertsch and Cordell Bertsch; her granddaughter Andrea Bertsch; and her siblings, Lloyd Ellis, Harlan Ellis, Alton Ellis, Dorrel Ellis, Lorraine Jones, Ardis Miller and Elaine Tong.
She is survived by: her daughters, Roxann Huovinen (Lowell) of Joshua, TX, Renae Good (Howard) of Rolla and Cheryl Bonn (Curt) of Rolla; her daughters-in-law, Cooky Bertsch of Lake Upsilon and Cindy Bertsch of Trout Creek, MT; her grandchildren, Tom Bertsch (Steph), Nicole Nel, Dustin Bertsch (Abigail), Courtney Frank (Justin), Todd Huovinen (Jessica), Kristy Huovinen, Tami Olson (John), Wade Good (Leah), Michael Bonn, Stephen Bonn and Janessa Bonn (Joshua); her great grandchildren, Abby (Gavin), Ava Bertsch, Maren Nel, Luke, Peter, James, Thomas, Paul Bertsch, Sheldon, Andrew, Jerimiah Frank, Erin Huovinen, Jake West, Jonathan Olson and Eric Good; and her sister-in-law Teen Ellis of Minot. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
