She was predeceased by: her parents, Pete Koenig and Leonida Koenig (Giesinger); her husband Joe; her son Lynn; and her sisters, Monica Miller, Cecelia Ellsworth, Regina Vetsch, Beatrice Mack and Bertha Koenig.
She is survived by: her pet Toto; her children, Tim of Glasgow, MT, Heidi Luraas (Randy) of Dickinson, Monica Houim (Bob) of Rugby, Jeff of Vancouver, WA, Edie Schell (Bob), Harvey, Dana Volk (Cathy) of Deadwood, SD, Lisa Thorp (Doug) of Willow City, Toby of Seattle, WA and Jeremy of North Branch, MN.; her siblings-in-law, Marcella Johnson of Williston, Aloyious, Wendelyn, George, Peter, Paul Volk, Betty Stewart, Walburga Mason, Hedy Harris, Maggie Thomas and Floretta Jaeger (Sandy); and her great grandchild Waylyn Alice Luraas. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren with 3 more on the way, many nieces and nephews.
She was a woman of faith and a true prayer warrior and helped lead many rosaries at the Haaland Home Chapel as a resident especially during Covid when church services were suspended.
