He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Peters and Gertrude Peters (Sattler) of Rugby; his brothers, Edward, Eugene and Joe Peters; his in-laws, Albert and Clara Wittmeier; and his sister-in-law Fern Lowe.
He is survived by: his wife Delaine Wittmeier; his children, Joe Peters (Sandy) of Minot and Denise Hansen (Keith); his grandson Shay Harmel (Kara) of Rugby; his stepgranddaughter Lexi Lovelace (Joe) of Minot; his great grandchildren, Kallie and Sutton Harmel of Rugby; his sisters, Joan of Wisconsin and Donna Holtz (Steve) of Chandler, Arizona; and his sister-in-law Marlene Welstad (Blaine). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends.
