It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evangeline Marie Bakken of Rugby, North Dakota, who passed away on January 30, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Peter Wangler and Hannah Schwab Wangler; her husband Paul Oleander Bakken; her son Dennis; and her brothers, Peter and Fred.

She is survived by : her sisters, Bernadine Meckle, Rugby, Delores Willison, Beverly Wangler and Jamestown; and her sister-in-law Lucia Wangler. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
