She was predeceased by : her parents, Mel Blessum and Ellen Blessum (Holt); and her husband Bill Monson. She is survived by : her sister Janis Leach (Bob) of Grand Forks; her daughters, Lauree Svobodny (Richard) of Audubon, MN, Liisa Foster (Greg) and Shannon Miller (Chad) of Rugby; and her brother-in-law Dr. John Monson (Mary) of Omaha, NE. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
