He is survived by: his wife Naomi Maskey (Sollin); his children, Chuck Fritel (Jayme), Hazen, Joey Fritel (Lanae), Ron Fritel (Melissa) and Susie Fritel-Sanders; his grandchildren, Caleb Fritel, Ethan Fritel of Rapid City, SD, Molly Cederstrom (Mikel), Natasha Sattler (Josh), Dustin Fritel (Lacie), Emily Biberdorf (Nick), Laura Fritel (Leroy Arnold) of Seattle, WA, Jonathan Fritel (Kayla Mehrer), Kari Fritel (Casey Mattson), Alexys Fritel, Samantha Monteau and William J Sanders; his great grandchildren, Everett, Sonnet, Alden Cederstrom, Isaac, Bella Sattler, Kai, Brighten Fritel, Oliver, Elliott Biberdorf, Liam Arnold, Ashton Visger, Willow and Ivy Mattson; his stepchildren, Marilyn Maskey (Dave Morley) and Darren Maskey; his grandchildren, Kole Maskey (Caela Donovan), Samantha Maskey (Travis Ramsey) and Tanecia Maskey; his great grandchildren, Korbyn, Paisley, Giovanni and Jill Harvey (David Maskey); his children, Brandon, Blake Harvey and Brook Hogencamp (Matt); his grandchildren, Skylee, Oliver and Greyson; his siblings, Frank Fritel, Ray Fritel (Judy), Beatrice Bachmeier of Austin, MN, Elsie Leonard (Harvey), Marge Heilman and Kathy Hagel (Doug) of Billings, MT; his sisters-in-law, Lorraine Fritel (Will), Pat Fritel (Ed), Debbie Fritel (Ernie) and Jackie Fritel (Fred); his brothers, Edward, Ernest, William and Fred Fritel; his siblings-in-law, Richard Heilman, Vincent Bachmeier and Janice Fritel; his nephew Tim Fritel; and his stepsons, Bryan and David Maskey. He is also survived by Grandparents, uncles, aunts and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Anderson Funeral Homes (119 3rd St SW, Rugby, ND 58368). A rosary was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Little Flower Catholic Church (218 3rd St SE, Rugby, ND 58368).
