He is survived by: his wife Vernice Volk; his children, Elizabeth Gjerde (Mike) of Moorhead, Rachael Ormond (James) of St. Charles, Rebekah Majkrazak (Steven) of Horace and Michael Brossart (Jacki) of Fargo; his grandchildren, Ava, Emma Ormond, Jakob, Henry Gjerde, Charlotte and Anton Brossart; his brothers, David (Nina) of Lansford, Dennis of Bismarck and Mark Brossart (Leanne) of Minot; and his aunt Regina Hoffart of Devils Lake. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins; other relatives and friends.
