He was predeceased by: his parents, Myrtle Degenstein and Andrew Degenstein; his sisters, Ruth Kirchofner, Ethel Gay, Margaret McLeod and Delores Jelsing; and his daughter-in-law Meriam Degenstein.
He is survived by: his wife Vonnie Schneider; his children, Tim and Patricia Selensky (Leonard); and his sister Marie Solberg of Lakota, N. D.. He is also survived by five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Lutheran Church (202 4th St SE, Rugby, ND 58368).
