He is survived by: his children, Denise Fritel (Blaine) and Craig Opstedal (Randi Boettcher); his close friend Connie Thompson of Rugby; his sisters, Carol Massine of Cedar Hill, Beverly Pederson of Towner and Alvera Emery (Chuck) of Minot; and his siblings-in-law, Jay Gangl of Hazen, Neil Kinney of Mineral Wells, Texas, Tina Gangl of Starkweather, Vickie Gangl of Bottineau, Sheila Monson (Doug) of Bottineau and Michelle Gangl of Moorehead. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews; great and great-great nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
