It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vivian Arlene Loken (Rugby, North Dakota), who passed away on June 12, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Albert Oakland and Myrtle Oakland (Johnson); her parents-in-law, Oscar and Alma Loken; her daughter Lori Johnson; her brother Allen; and her siblings-in-law, Sherman Loken and Barbara Oakland.

She is survived by : her husband Earl Loken; her daughters, Terri Brustad (Michael) of Hatton, ND, Mesa and Jodi Schaan (Paul) of Rugby, ND; her son-in-law Curtis Johnson of Fargo, ND; her granddaughter Tricia Pomering (Chris); her sisters, Lindsey Brustad-Flanagan of Pompano Beach, FL, Jessica Gerwig (Evan) of Cheyenne, WY and Erica Nehk (Andrew) of West Fargo, ND; her grandson Hunter Parcel of Nashville, TN; her great grandchildren, Andrew, Lilly Pomering, Mackenzie, Madilyn Flanagan, Easton, Nora Gerwig, Porter, Luca and Finnley Nehk; her brothers, James (Florence), Arvid and Eldred Oakland (Carol); and her siblings-in-law, Arden Loken (Delores), Marilyn Loken and Jean Aardahl (Dennis).

Vivian Arlene Loken, 88 years old, died Monday, June 12, 2023 at Heart of America Medical Center of a heart attack after suffering with Alzheimer's for several years.
