She was predeceased by: her parents, George Jacob Gourd and Melvina Agnes Littlewind Gourd; her siblings, Marlene Grace Anderson, Kenneth "Butch" Gourd and Gary "Unksee" Gourd; and her siblings' children, Valerie Gail Merrick, Gary DeMarrias, Mark DeMarrias, Loren Gourd, Marvin Anderson Jr. and Grant Davidson.
She is survived by: her nieces, Joy and Candice Anderson; her children, Sacheen Thompson, Darrick Ami and Avery Thompson (Alayna); her grandchildren, Brennen Lee Thompson, Demrae Ami, Talissa Ami, Kendrick Jackson, Shandyn Ami, TruVal Ami, Keira Longie, Sienna Lawrence, Serene Lawrence, Avery Thompson III and Lovella Thompson; and her significant other Justin Cavanaugh.
