She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Hanenberg and Adeline Hanenberg (Schwehr); her husband Rodney Nelson; her close friend Louis Novotny; her siblings, Shirley Ann Risser, Donna Mae Larson, Mary Lou Nelson, Kermit "Bub" Hanenberg and Jacob John; and her in-laws, Chuck Risser, Kenny Larson, Clinton Nelson, Dennis Greshik, Earl Scofield, Delores Hanenberg, Art and Rose Nelson.
She is survived by: her children, Larry "Wolf" Christensen (LeAnn) of Spiritwood, ND, Kevin Christensen (Jill) of Valley City, ND, Brenda Shank of Sanborn, ND and Ricky Nelson (Jessica) of Wimbledon, ND; her grandchildren, Jody Lynn, Jordan (Lexi), Jessica Lynn (Brian) and Alex; her great grandchildren, Rachel, Savannah, Gracie, Olivia, Landan, Lane, Sophia, Leiana, Braxton, Ashton, Jaxon, Jamie and Caiden; her sisters, Katie Scofield, Adeline Greshik and Margie Ournhagen (Darrell); and her in-laws, Cheryl Sola (Marv) and Clayton Nelson (Joyce). She is also survived by family members and friends.
