He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Olson and Alice Olson (Wahlund); his granddaughter Miley Rae Dupay; his parents-in-law, Emma and Rudy Kanenwisher; his brother-in-law David Kanenwisher; his sister Sandra; his brother-in-law Walter Howell; his niece Robyn Lynne; and his great-niece Kaitlyn Kanenwisher.
He is survived by: his wife Diane; his children, Randi Petras (Andy), Kimberly Dupay (Matthew) and Jeffrey Olson; his grandchildren, Collin Petras, Michael Dupay, Delaney Dupay and Harrison Dupay; his sister Carol; and his brother-in-law Elmer Nelson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the American Lutheran Church (401 1st St SW, Stanley, ND 58784). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
