She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ebel and Alvina Ebel (Deutscher); her husband Gottfried Dewald; and her siblings, Emil, Walter, Arthur, Harry, Oscar, Edward, Mary, Edna and Arlene.
She is survived by: her sons, Steven Dewald (Kathleen) of Onawa, IA and Mark Dewald (Pamela) of Allen, TX; her grandchildren, Brent Dewald (Nicolle), Jason Dewald (Patrisha), Joshua Dewald, Nicholas Melby (Nicole Watkins), Erin Cox (Zachary), Heather Bonnes (Jon), Jeremy Dewald and Dustin Dewald (Michael Rice); her great grandchildren, Jackson Dewald, Joseph Dewald, Jarrett Dewald, Braxton Dewald, Brayden Dewald, Addison Dewald, Raelynn Engel, Barrett Engel, Briella Dewald, Lillian Dewald, Dodge Melby, Kole Faith, Jaxson Melby, Addyson Melby, Dalsten Schafer, Todd Bonnes, Jasper Bonnes, Pennaelopi Bonnes, Julienne Bonnes, Jazmin Bell, Logan Rice and Baxter Rice; her great great grandchildren, Brooks Dewald and Briggs Dewald; her sister Violet Joachim of Aberdeen, SD; and her sister-in-law Helena Ebel. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
