He is survived by: his mother Mary McGinnity; his uncle Andy Buckley; his father-in-law Steve; his stepmother Larena Lokken; his brothers, Steve McGinnity, Dan McGinnity (Joni), Randy McGinnity (Alisa) and Jim McGinnity (Veronica); and his stepsister Melissa Phillipp (Jeff). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
