He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess Blake and Nina Blake (Barton); his wife Charlotte Ann Burr; his sons, Robert Sr. and Donald; and his siblings, Alan Blake, Harold Blake, Rita Blake, Roy Blake, Edward Blake, June Blake and Evelyn King.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Schmitt (David) of Towner, Donna Ness (Terry) of Westhope, Duane Blake of Towner and Delvina Blake of Grand Forks; his grandchildren, Jess Pierce (Brian), Michael Schmitt (Katherine), Devin Schmitt (Cala), Austin Haman, Elizabeth Deschamp (Levi), Hannah Watkins (Wylie), Makayla Thompson (Zach), Dillon Blake, Melissa Blake, Derrick Blake, Chelsea Blake, Chantel Sparks, Bobby Blake and Alexis Blake; and his sister Judy Elsie (Everett) of California. He is also survived by 25 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends.
