He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Schilling and Gladys Schilling (Rygh); and his siblings, Roger Schilling (Leatrice) and Shirley Klain (Leonard). He is survived by: his wife Darlene Ann Jorgenson; his children, Doreen Carson, DeeAnn Portra (Steve) and Darnell Schilling (Sheila); his grandchildren, Christian Carson (Kait Mulvaney), Matthew Carson (Haley), Jared Portra (Mandy), Jessica Portra (Kody Boyer), Mariah Mavity (Rhet), Nathaniel Fulton, Sierra and Serena Schilling; his great grandchildren, Kennedy, Khloe Carson, Jackson, Avery Portra and Baby Portra; and his brother James Schilling (Bonnie). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
