She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Blake (Ed) and Martha Blake (Sweeney); her husband Morris Peterson; her daughter Barbara; and her siblings, James, Margaret, Agnes, Mae, Veronica, Beatrice, Sister Paula and Sister Gemma.
She is survived by: her children, Pat Peterson (Doug Franzen, family: Christian Franzen, Anna Kirlin) of Bloomington, MN and Greg Peterson (Marilyn, family: Travis Peterson, Molly Peterson) of Dilworth, MN; and her great grandchildren, Oliver, Charlie Kirlin of Bloomington, MN, Callum Franzen of Minneapolis, MN, Sullivan of Valley City, Sawyer of Valley City, Turner of Valley City and Penn Peterson of Valley City.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lerud Mathias Funeral Home Chapel (515 Central Ave N, Valley City, ND 58072). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the SMP Health St. Raphael Chapel (979 Central Ave N, Valley City, ND 58072).
