He is survived by: his children, Cindy Fitzner (Mark) of Valley City, Carol Perkins (Jerry) of Valley City, Tim (Kathy) of Fairfax, VA, Terry (Kim) of Minneapolis, MN, Jon (Shelly) of The Woodlands, TX and James of Houston, TX; his brothers, Dale (Millie) of Bismarck, ND and David (Pat) of Scottsdale, AZ; his grandchildren, Ashley Bakkegard (Andy) of West Fargo, ND, Carly Willson (Mike) of Fargo, ND, Dan Fitzner (Bethany), Katie Sauer (Chris) of San Diego, CA, Beret Claire Sauer of Chicago, IL, Drew Sauer (Marissa) of Houston, Devin Sauer (Lindsey) of Houston, Connor Sauer (Makayla) of Houston, Cameron Sauer (Rosalia) of Houston, Brittany Schaan (Adam) of Mapleton, ND, Cassidy Wendler (Eric) of Coralville, IA and Michael Wendler; and his great grandchildren, Brynn, Norah, Hadley Bakkegard, Jase, Braeley Willson, Finlee, Haislee Fitzner, Jack Atallah, Emma, Avery, Reese, Natalie Sauer, Hudson and Sylas Schaan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
